My name is Kyle I like doing DIY repairs and mods for various things. I started out doing retro game console mods and nowadays I mess around with pretty much anything. Been mostly doing audio-related stuff like with guitar pedals and amps recently. I will have a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering by May of this year so technically I do have credentials (whether they mean anything to you depends on whether you trust what you’re reading on this site). A lot of people say I talk or approach things like I’m a 40 year old man but I’m actually only 22, so if I post something with some historical context just remember I’m not as old as I may come across. This site will mostly focus on various repairs and mods/designs as well as other stuff that I’ve been doing recently that some people may be interested in or want advice on. The more detailed information and guides out there about some of these relatively niche projects the better, especially since I certainty could have used some of these resources when I was going through a lot of this stuff.
I want this to be both a reservoir for niche information on stuff most people probably don’t care about as well as a personal blog where I can talk about some of the things I’m working on since I don’t really talk about it much with people IRL. I’m a huge history buff so I might do some random posts about relatively old equipment and some of my observations about these things. I also might do some reviews on here of games/music/products depending on if I feel like it. I doubt many people will stumble upon this website but if you have any questions about some of the stuff I post on here I’ll link my reddit and I might respond to messages there, I also might make a new email and paste that at the bottom. We’ll see if I start posting more personal stuff on here but I tend to keep things pretty private.
